Early Red Green Floral Urns Novelty MWT Vintage Printed Tablecloth (54 X 54)
Anyone who knows me knows I am especially fond of these 1930s cloths back when things were hand printed. Colors and designs were much simpler. The original label just says Hand Decorated as many of these earlier tablecloth labels do. The printing is skipped in one area near the center, part and parcel of the early printing method. Red and green on an off white cotton background. The green points to a late 30s date since most green was not colorfast before 1935. A couple of light dirt smudges should wash out. The background is a creamy tan slightly ridgy twill with natural specks.
