Bright Blue Green Cactus on Gold Southwest Novelty Vintage Printed Tablecloth (53 X 45)
Doing the colorway thing again! The unusual thing about the two cactus cloths is that one is linen and one is cotton. This is the cotton one and is a heavy weight mostly seen in the giant tablecloths. The colors are bright with two small spots outside the border I did not try to remove. Faint blue smudge nearby. I did not soak. Four hems.
There is a theory I've heard that these heavyweight cloths were made after the war using surplus fabric. Since it was large, most of the tablecloths in this weight are large. Smaller square cloths like this would need to be hemmed on all four sides.
