Unwashed Political Slogans Vintage Tablecloth Unwashed Political Slogans Vintage Tablecloth This is a hard to find tablecloth. In unwashed condition like this, probably rare. Political slogans like "No taxation without representation" and " A chicken in every pot". It was designed by Marguerita Mergentime and is one of I think three tablecloths in the series. I vaguely remember another political slogan cloth as well as one with presidential signatures. Ms Mergentime was a hugely influential textile designer in the 1930s and her designs were used for NYWF textiles among others. She is also known for her nautical designs. It has some slight age staining and a slight atticky smell.
