Printed on somewhat rustic oatmeal colored linen like some of the 60s cloths. However this pattern is pure 40s. It is from Leacock Quality Linens, one of my favorite manufacturers. The original paper label lists the pattern name as May Blossom and it has six matching napkins! It has some of the flax remaining in the weave so this is for someone who appreciates something a little different from the usual standard florals.
