Rare Oklahoma State Souvenir Vintage Tablecloth Rare Oklahoma State Souvenir Vintage Tablecloth I rarely use the word rare to describe a tablecloth. This one it definitely fits. Texas Textile Mills produced a famous tablecloth that was a view of the US from the Texas Textile Mills. This one is the Oklahoma version. It is the only tablecloth I have seen in 10 years of dedicated collecting. I bet most State souvenir collectors do not even know it exists! The Texas one is shown in Pam Glasell's book Vintage Souvenir Tablecloths and Linens. She describes THAT one as rare. I have owned probably five over the 10 year period and seen maybe twice that amount. This one, nada. Now, it is not in perfect condition. It shares the same issues that I have seen on the Texas cloth. Big areas of light yellow tea type staining AND patchy areas that look like bleach damage, particularly to the border. I cannot get the teastains to show up on camera. Finally, a one inch fabric flaw. I have tried to show some of these areas. It is truly a rare and spectacular find! Even has a Fiatelle signature! Size: 50 X 48 Fabric Content: Midweight cotton Dye Condition: Mostly gently faded with splotchy areas that look like bleach damage Holes/Tears: None Stains: Light yellow stains here and there. I did soak it once but was afraid of damaging it further. They are visible but not horrible on the table.
