HTF Louisiana Purchase Vintage Tablecloth
According to Souvenir Linens by Pamela Glasell, this tablecloth was produced by Startex in 1953 to commemorate the 150th anniversary of the Louisiana Purchase, described as "Americas Best Buy". It is in near mint condition with the sewn in Startex label. There are a couple of very light yellow stains in the middle of the states that I am not going to try to remove. I cant tell you how many tablecloths I have killed by trying to get that last stain out. I dont want to risk fading the colors.
I photographed it damp so that I could catch the light. It will be completely dry and pressed again before mailing.
