Primary Flowers on Blue MWT Vintage Tablecloth
This sweet tablecloth shows the hallmarks of an earlier pattern. There is grinning where spaces are placed between the colors. There are a lot of alignment issues common to these earlier cloths. It has the original paper label from JS&S. The label has no size, has a number for the pattern name AND has the words pure linen crossed out in pen. I think this is an early label, confirming the early printing date of the tablecloth.
There is some noticeable age staining, particularly along the fold closest to the label.
