Tammis Keefe Paisley Linen Vintage Tablecloth What a fun and funky pattern! Like an overgrown bandana! It is signed by Tammis Keefe, a textile designer who was highly regarded even during her lifetime. According to Fun Linens by Scofield and Zalamea, signed Keefe tablecloths sold for nearly $12 in the mid fifties, when other tablecloths sold for $5. Many of her tablecloths were designed for Fallani & Cohn Falflax. This is likely one of their tablecloths. The color is a bricky red, not a true red. I think the pictures are fairly close except for the signature. Seems barely used although I did launder to remove a slight attic smell. I found three spots outside the border. One tiny blue mark and two light smudgy rusty colored spots as pictured.
