It came in a plastic bag so it is clean but smells a little like vinegar as plastic bags start to degrade over time. A good wash should fix that. Avoid the use of Oxy on this tablecloth with the high rayon content and the gold dye. The modularized rayon is a heavy fabric, not the floppy rayon that is found in some tablecloths.
