HTF Marion Dorn Drums Vintage Tablecloth Wonderful design from Marion V Dorn, one of the most important female midcentury textile designers. She designed in England prior to the 1940s but moved to the US and designed for Simtex among others. This drum design reminds me of the Luther Travis patterns for Fallani and Cohn but I cant find anything that says she designed for them. It is not perfect unfortunately. It is somewhat faded, has a small hole and several stains that did not come out in an oxy soak. Still, it is a hard to find cloth from an important early 20th century designer.
