The colors are bright and look like they were spongepainted on. The fabric is a nice off-white cotton twill. The red is more of a blue red in person than it looks in the picture. My camera is terrible with reds unless I have a lot of natural light. There is some light storage staining and a few tiny dirt spots. If you want to soak this cloth, it's best to use Biz as these smooshy early dyes are often unstable in Oxy bleaches.
