Broderie? Stagecoach Folks Vintage Tablecloth I think this one might be a Broderie by the look of the people and the tulips. The color is bright and it looks like it hasn't been washed much. I did soak it quickly but didn't want to fade the colors. There are about six dime sized light rust colored stains that are out in the border and hard to see. There are some areas where the dye is not completely even. This, plus the "grinning" where the colors meet, lead to an early 40s date for this tablecloth. Grinning is where a blank space is left between colors to allow for a small variation in the hand printing. Size: 49 X 46 Fabric Content: Cotton Dye Condition: Good with a few tiny dye skips Holes/Tears: None Stains: About six light dime sized rust colored stains.
