Simtex KASHA with Butterchurns Vintage Tablecloth Simtex KASHA with Butterchurns Vintage Tablecloth This is one of the first cloths I ever collected! It is shown on page 107 of the book "Colorful Tablecloths" by Yvonne Barineau and Erin Henderson. They say that it is likely called "Kasha" due to the fabric's resemblance to a typle of woven flannel called Kasha cloth. I've had several of these Simtex kasha style cloths but this is the only one I've had in tan, all the others have been gray. This seems to be a heavier weight than many of the other Simtex blend cloths I've had. The background doesn't show very well but it's a tan textured looking background, it almost looks like tan flannel. Size: 52 X 44 Fabric Content: Cotton/rayon blend Dye Condition: Good Holes/Tears: Two small worn spots, less than an eighth of an inch Stains: One yellow stain near the border which is about 2 by half an inch. Hems/Selvedges: Good | |
