Wonderful Wilendurs Vintage Tablecloths  
Wilendur vintage tablecloths and the other Weil and Durrse brands like Pride of Flanders and America's Pride are considered to be the best of the best by some floral vintage tablecloth collectors. The fabric they chose was heavy and durable. The colors were bright and clear and the printing showed their attention to detail. Unwashed Wilendure Coffee Mill Vintage Tablecloth This hard to find Wilendure tablecloth is shown in Elegant Table Linens by Michelle Hayes. it has coffee mills, butter presses and baked goods. This tablecloth has never been used or washed. It has evenly frayed ends at both ends, selvedges on the sides. It does not have the line of stitching you would expect to see in an intentionally frayed cloth, so I would probably add that before I washed it. The colorway is different than in the book. Wilendur Lobster Clam Vintage Tablecloth This is a harder to find Wilendur tablecloth and always popular. The colors are great, no pinholes, a rarity on these Wilendur cottons! There are several minor issues. First, parts of the hem are out to the first fold and there are a few loose threads. Will not affect wear. Second, the Wilendure label bled slightly on the tablecloth, but that is right by an edge. I see two places where there is faint red dye bleed. One has a faded yellow stain in the middle. These things are not visible on the table, only when the tablecloth is held to the light. In general, this is one of the best Wilendur lobster cloths I have seen. Size: 53 X 51 Fabric Content: Midweight cotton Dye Condition: Good Holes/Tears: None Stains: 2-3 small pink spots where the sewn in tag bled on the tablecloth. Visible but it is right by an edge. Two areas of faint red dye transfer one with a pale yellow spot. These areas are not visible on the table

Wilendur Fruit Bowl Vintage Tablecloth This is one of the less common Wilendur tablecloths. It is not rare, but can be hard to find in good condition. This one is nice and large with gently faded colors. There are a few small light stains and a couple of areas of light pink dye transfer but none of it is obvious on the table. Maybe another soak would make it perfect? 2-3 pinholes as are common on these Wilendur cloths. A beauty from my archives. Brown Wilendur Shasta Daisy Vintage Tablecloth Daisies on brown gingham. The Wilendur pattern name is Shasta Daisy. Brown is a less common color. The colors are great! There are a few light yellow stains but they are not obvious on the table. I gave it a quick soak but that's all. A couple of broken threads, which is usual for Wilendur tablecloths. There are a few pinholes as nearly always happens in these Wilendurs. One faded stain is hard to see on the table. Several laundry markers including one that is stapled on. Wilendure Purple Gladioli Vintage Tablecloth This Wilendure (post 58) tablecloth is the pattern style I call Arc. If you found it in a square, the glads would like all around the edges like a regular border pattern. On the longer cloths, the pattern forms an arc at each end. It is beautiful with the original sewn in label. Like nearly every Wil cloth I have ever owned, it does have a pinhole, to the edge of the center field. It also has a small faint spot as pictured. The good thing about this pattern is that depending on table size, the pattern can be on the drop and wont interfere with china patterns.
