Kitschy Stuff MWT Vintage Tablecloth I am pretty decided that this manufacturer is my favorite. I still dont know who they were but I have asked Yvonne Barineau who is going to dig through her notes. Huge Blue Pink Floral MWT Vintage Tablecloth I think this might be my favorite MWT floral that I have ever had! I am really going to miss it when it is gone! It is huge! The colors are spectacular with french blue, pink, red and grass green on a heavier cream textured cotton. I dont remember ever having another tablecloth on this fabric. Wonderful! This is printed on a rustic cotton, thicker and with a wider weave. The colors are spectacular! There is some age staining here and there. Rare Thanksgiving MWT Vintage Tablecloth This is the weirdest thing! I have never seen this tablecloth before and here it is with the original paper label. It is from Garden State House of Prints called Thanksgiving. It looks to me to be an exact copy of their Christmas tablecloth except it is in a pinkish brown instead of red. There are poinsettias. There are snowmen. Deer and snowy fields. It is like someone said, hey, there are no Santas on this Christmas cloth, lets reissue it for Thanksgiving! It has a slight storage odor that should disappear when washed. A few small storage spots on the drop by the label. There is an area with black marks. I dont know what they are or if they will come out. They are in the border so they are not as obvious as if they were in the center. Rare Pastel Christmas MWT Vintage Tablecloth Christmas tablecloths are incredibly hard to find with pastel colors. Not only does this have pink and turquoise, it has the original paper label. The manufacturer is Garden State House of Prints and the pattern name is Golden Bell. In fact, I dont ever remember seeing this pattern before! I can find no damage to this tablecloth other than a slight smell. Remember Oxy products should never be used on tablecloths with metallic dyes. The pattern is slightly offset, especially on a couple of bells. This is a normal outcome of the more manual printing process. Stunning Green Dogwoods MWT Vintage Tablecloth Lime jello comes to mind when I see this green dogwood tablecloth. It is from Garden State House of Prints and the pattern name is Blossom. At least I think that is the whole name, part of the label is missing. There are several visible dye drips on this tablecloth. The largest is inside the center field. I have included a picture of the spot and another picture to show you where it is. I dont think it detracts from the pattern. Finally, the stitching is a little loose along some of the hem like the top thread wasnt threaded properly on the machine. I dont think that will cause a problem either, it is only a little loose. Tom Lamb Floral NWT Naps Vintage Tablecloth A great find for the Tom Lamb collector! Not only does this tablecloth have the original label, it has matching napkins too! The label says Garden State Table Toppers Designed by Tom Lamb and the pattern name is Windsor. Tom Lamb is known to textile collectors as the designer of whimsical childrens' hankies and the great Pageant of the States design for the 1939 World's Fair. I have found tablecloths, scarves, hankies and a book with that design. Tom Lamb also designed a line of tablecloths for Garden State and this is the second one I've found. Both the tablecloth and the napkins have some light storage staining as I've tried to show in the pictures. I can't get it to show up. Garden State Mustard Floral MWT Vintage Tablecloth This Garden State tablecloth is called Spring Flowers. The colors are unusual for a spring design. Garden State had a variety of very famous designers including Tom Lamb. This rayon cotton blend is a special fabric they called Vista Sheen. It's a very soft and drapey twill. The tablecloth carries it's original $3.98 price tag. There are some areas of age staining on this tablecloth, plus two small visible gray stains. Right by a selvedge, they are shown in pictures. Finally, as I was taking the pictures, I found a quarter inch worn spot near one edge. The tablecloth might have caught on something during it's lifetime. There is some noticeable age staining, particularly along the face where the label is attached.
