Purple Pansies Napkins NWT Vintage Tablecloth Purple is a harder to find color in tablecloths. This one has pansies too! The matching napkins have a nice purple band that matches the purple in the pansies. The manufacturer is Ely-Walker Spunwell. According to Colorful Tablecloths by Yvonne Barineau and Erin Henderson, David Davis Walker is the great-great-grandfather of President George W. Bush. There is some slight storage staining to both the tablecloths and the napkins. I found three darker stains on the tablecloth around the label. Strawberries NWT Cutter? Vintage Tablecloth Wonderful strawberry cloth! The strawberries are sweet in red and pink with a banana yellow accent. Light sage foliage on a burgundy and banana yellow stripe. This tablecloth has a hole in the center field. I am not sure whether it was present when the cloth was printed. It is about a half inch or so in size. Two areas where there are dark stains of unknown origin. Slight age staining throughout with a few dark spots on the very edge of the selvedges. Beautiful Blue Leaves MWT Vintage Tablecloth WOW! This one is amazing! An Eye Appeal cloth, it's described as a novelty damask. It has stripes running through the body of the cloth and checks around the edges. This cloth is very like the cloth on one of my 1939 NY World's Fair cloths so I suspect it is from that era. It is in wonderful condition! I found only one tiny spot by the label. I would not recommend Oxy on this tablecloth because some of the earlier dyes were not stable. Tulips on Peach NWOT Vintage Tablecloth This tablecloth has never been used but it has some issues. It arrived with the original paper label attached from F and C. The pattern name is Tulip. It had extensive age staining which lessened in a single soak but it is still visible, especially on the edge of a fold. It also has a fade line down the middle of the center. This is an old tablecloth (look at the age of the label) and a nice color combination of peach, grass and teal. Pretty! Early Daylilies MWT Vintage Tablecloth This tablecloth is stunning! The use of overprinting blue and yellow to make green points to an early date. Maybe early 40s? The pattern also has a slight offset in places, common on earlier handprinted tablecloths. The background is ecru but I dont know if it started that color or if it has mellowed evenly over time. This pattern has big bells around the border, red center. This is not the perfectionist tablecloth. It has some minor dye print issues consistent with many of these 60s Christmas tablecloths. The paper label was loose in the bag, common again. Of course I removed the bag. The manufacturer is Fairfield and the pattern name is Carillon. It says 100% cotton on the paper label and feels like cotton. The little stuck on label says it is a rayon blend. I dont know what to think about that. This is nice medium weight linen. A good big size too! Has the original paper label from Fairfield and the pattern name Holiday. A few tiny little marks around the label. It has dark blue roosters on a lighter blue border with a blue/gray inner border. The roosters are standing on something round so I am not sure if they are to represent weathervanes? There is some slight darkening along the fold above the label. Otherwise the cloth looks pretty clean. Mod Oranges MWT Vintage Tablecloth This tablecloth is very bold. How cool! Unusual modern oranges with a deep green center on an off white linen. Spectacular! Some light age staining along the edges, nothing horrible. There is one light stain hard to see in the border. It does need to be aired out though or a good wash, it has a slight atticky smell.
