1939 Worlds Fair NWT Vintage Tablecloth This tablecloth has the original labels from Bestmaid. There is a similar tablecloth included in Pam Glasell's Vintage Souvenir Tablecloths and Linens on page 134. She says that although there are washing instructions on the label, most Bestmaid cloths are not colorfast. So finding them in good condition is rare. This one does have some storage staining as I tried to show in the pictures. Still, its a very bright and wonderful tablecloth! Blue Daffodils MWT Vintage Tablecloth I also have this tablecloth in green with no label. I love this print! The fabric is a little unusual, stiff and might be linen, I am not sure. The colors of this are so pretty! Light cornflower blue, chalk pink, bright yellow and bright green. There is one inch sized spot outside the border. On the back, it is harder to see from the front and is pictured. The blue center is somewhat mottled but that must be due to the earlier printing date. Pastel Ribbons Floral MWT Vintage Tablecloth Wow! I love this tablecloth. Im going to sorely miss it when its gone! The colors are pretty and pure. The fabric is a nice weight too. Fascinating Flower Urns MWT Vintage Tablecloth This tablecloth is very, very interesting! It came with both a Broderie and a Penneys Fashion Manor label in the bag. Of course, I threw away the bag so the Penneys label is loose. It speaks to a long question about why Broderie patterns turned up with Penneys labels (like the farmer with the anthro veggies). It looks to me like Broderie made tablecloths to be sold under the Penneys label. Not that Penneys somehow copied or purchased the rights to the Broderie patterns. How cool is that?! It is very clean with the exception of a light, quarter sized water spot by the label. It has Mexican men and ladies, pots and burros around the outer border. The inner border has fruit and gourds in wonderful bowls! All on a wonderful manilla colored cotton. The tablecloth does have a mild mothball smell which should dissipate with an airing. Broderie Tropical Island NWT Vintage Tablecloth This is a harder to find Broderie tablecloth. Judging from the smudginess of the print, the overdying and the simple three color printing, I would suspect a 1930s era. It has conch shells, Mexican pots, palm trees and hula girls. What else could you ask for? There is some visible age staining. It is strongest along the fold across the middle of the tablecloth. It is also darker on the exposed face with the label. I would avoid Oxy cleaners with this cloth if you are going to clean it at all. Maybe a quick Biz wash? Bucilla White Christmas MWT Vintage Tablecloth This tablecloth is so beloved that I have seen TWO different reproductions. One has more modern bells in the border and one has hardly any bells at all. This is the real thing, complete with the original Bucilla paper label to prove it. The tablecloth does have a few tiny marks and a small cluster of light yellow stains by the label. Turquoise Floral NWOT Vintage Tablecloth This pretty Bucilla tablecloth came with the original paper label attached but it had dark age staining. I removed the label and soaked it. The label will travel with. The pattern name is Floral Grill. The tablecloth came mostly clean but there is a rust colored stain in the border as pictured. I had to soak the tablecloth several times and it is now gently faded. Size: 62 X 53 Fabric Content: Midweight cotton/rayon blend Dye Condition: Gently faded Holes/Tears: None Stains: Rust colored spots in the border

Pink Flowers Turquoise MWT Vintage Tablecloth Pink poppies, white daisies and gray wheat on a turquoise ground that goes edge to edge. Has the original paper label from Bucilla with the pattern name Field Flowers. What I call a selvedge print rather than the traditional border print. The Bucilla cotton/rayon blend is heavier like a Vicray. No issues found. Very sweet!
