Orange Roses Linen MWT Vintage Tablecloth From the color of the green, I would guess a 1960s vintage for this great linen tablecloth. It would be great for Halloween, Fall, Spring. Nice colors of orange and yellow. Has the original paper label from Home Art Tablecovers, a label I don't think I have seen before. The pattern name is Field Flowers. There are a couple of small spots. Dirt along the main fold. A couple of weave areas as pictured are consistent with the linen of the time. Pastel Tulip Pots MWT Vintage Tablecloth I have been buying a few of these Hope tablecloths lately. They are pretty and happy colors with a late 50s early 60s feel. The background color is bright white, not blue like the picture shows. The weight feels like a midweight Simtex, not the heavier weight but not the nasty thin kind either. Colors are bright and cute! ROUND Patio Rooster NWT Vintage Tablecloth Wow! This is so cool! I have never had one before! This is a scalloped round tablecloth with roosters and a zipper to fit the tablecloth around your patio umbrella. It has the original paper label from Imperial. It also has a matching towel! There is contrast piping around the edge and the roosters also have piping details. Very cool! The towel looks like it has been used because it is lighter than the tablecloth. The downside is that it does have some storage spots here and there as pictured. I am not sure whether this tablecloth can be soaked in Oxy with the zipper. Great Canada Souvenir MWT Vintage Tablecloth This pretty Canada souvenir tablecloth has maps of the country, provincial shields and little vignettes of tourist destinations. Love the Calgary Stampede one because that is where I grew up. This tablecloth is often found in rayon but I love it in this cotton! The label looks a lot like the Vera label at first glance but is from Imperial Linens. Has some pretty light age staining on the two folds next to the label. Blue Green Cowboys NWT Napkins Vintage Tablecloth This tablecloth is amazing but not perfect! Cowboys and cowgirls with roping and riding in blue green and black. A center with horseshoes, cacti, saddles and other cowboy icons. Six matching napkins with a cowboy riding a horse in one corner. I think it's a fairly rare pattern, especially with the paper label and matching napkins. Fabulous set! Has the original paper label from Iris Prints. As with other earlier hand prints, there is some misalignment of the print in places and some light dye transfer. The light dye transfer is not showing well in the pictures. On the table, it is visible but not distracting. Some slight age staining here and there that looks like it should wash out. Unfortunately there is some light dye transfer here and there throughout. I don't know if this will look better when washed. I would keep it this way and just admire it, myself. There is a white mark by the label. It is on the surface and I dont know what it is or if it will wash out. It's not too obvious. First, there is grinning, the leaving of blank spaces between the colors that allows for some misalignment. Second, there is misalignment throughout the tablecloth. TOM LAMB Vegetable NWT Vintage Tablecloth This amazing vegetable tablecloth has a paper label identifying it as a Tom Lamb design called County Fair. Tom Lamb was a midcentury textile designer and inventor. I think there were very few tablecloths designed by him. In fact, Fun Linens & Handkerchiefs of the 20th Century by Elizabeth Scofield and Peggy Zalamea does not even mention his tablecloth designs. They only talk about his hankies, towels and cocktail napkins. This tablecloth has extensive storage staining but I didn't want to remove the paper label to wash it. Tropical Isle Palm Trees NWT Vintage Tablecloth This JS&S tablecloth has its original tag. From the looks of the printing and the hand printed on the label, I believe this is an early 40s tablecloth. There is grinning (spaces between colors to allow for less accurate hand printing) and the blue border is somewhat mottled. I don't remember seeing this tablecloth before, it's really great! It does have some age staining so I called it New With Tag. There are fairly deep stains along some of the folds plus an area as shown with a cluster of little spots. Because of the look of the dyes, I would not recommend the use of Oxy products on this tablecloth. Biz would be safer. Bright colored iris in pink, teal, grass and turquoise on a gray-white sheeting weight cotton. As old sheeting weight cotton, there are also some slight imperfections to the weave. Still, I think this is likely a hard to find tablecloth in this kind of condition. There is some light dirt along a couple of the folds. It was a very sad tablecloth though and I vowed to find it in new condition, just so I could see how it looked. This has the original JS&S paper label. Unusual Earlier Mexican NWT Vintage Tablecloth This old tablecloth has the most unusual colors I have ever seen on a Mexican tablecloth! Magenta, blue and green. The paper label from JS&S is stapled on and it looks to be an early one! There is significant age staining, especially on the portions around the label. It is deeper than it looks in the pictures. One quadrant of the tablecloth is affected. I dont know how much of this will soak out and so I have priced accordingly. There is also a nearby fabric flaw that looks like a ladder. Primary Flowers on Blue MWT Vintage Tablecloth This sweet tablecloth shows the hallmarks of an earlier pattern. There is grinning where spaces are placed between the colors. There are a lot of alignment issues common to these earlier cloths. It has the original paper label from JS&S. The label has no size, has a number for the pattern name AND has the words pure linen crossed out in pen. I think this is an early label, confirming the early printing date of the tablecloth. There is some noticeable age staining, particularly along the fold closest to the label. Strawberries on Blue MWT Vintage Tablecloth I have seen this tablecloth attributed to Wilendur. However this one has a textured cotton ground which I dont believe Weil and Durrse ever used. It is actually a JS&S cloth. It does have some light age staining, particularly along part of one of the folds. It is not too deep and may completely soak out. Does have a couple of noticeable dye skips plus a few other tiny ones. Some pretty light age staining may soak out. Yellow Gray Dogwood NWT Vintage Tablecloth Again, another pretty floral with some significant age staining. This pattern is very curious! Colorful Tablecloths refers to JS&S tagged tablecloths turns up with Parisian Prints and Exclusive tags too. However, this tablecloth turns up with Sultan Creations labels as well. I dont know how the different companies all fit together. This beauty has some deep age staining here and there on the folds. I dont know if it will soak clean but the deeper colors do hide some of it. Some dirt, especially along the main fold by the label and in one 5 inch area in the middle. May wash out. Colorful Tablecloths has evidence of Parisian Prints/JS&S back to the late 50s but I think this is earlier than that.
