I think in the back of my brain, this is a Springmaid company which would explain the crayon colors and the chevron patterned fabric. The colors are somewhat smooshy so I would probably use Biz instead of Oxy to soak. There is some storage staining. Light along some of the folds with a cluster of darker spots as pictured. 60s Pink Dishes MWT Napkins Vintage Tablecloth Sorry about the blue pictures, the camera is picking up a reflection from my walls again! This tablecloth has an unusual feel. I think it is a cotton/rayon blend but with a wider weave than most vintage tablecloths. It has an overlock edge and that always says 60s to me. There used to be six napkins but now there are only five. It has a slight smell from being in a bag for decades but that should wash out the first wash. Unusual Red Floral Strawberries MWT Vintage Tablecloth This is a Made In Japan tablecloth with the original paper label from LB. It is listed as a cotton/rayon blend but it feels like a fine cotton. Different fabric than I am used to in the American cloths. I do know after the war and reconciliation, that US manufacturers started to offshore the printing of some of their textiles. The pattern is adorable! There is a cluster of light stains partially hidden in the pattern in the center. It is very pretty though and would be the perfect tablecloth to use with the kids. I think the vinyl is bonded to the fabric surface yet the rose pattern seems to be floating on top. Pink Colonial Fruit Bowl MWT Vintage Tablecloth Leacock All American is the brand of this cute pink tablecloth. The pattern name is Mount Vernon. The predominant color is a pretty pink with aqua, sage and olive green fruit. The bowls themselves are wonderful. Some look like milk glass pedestals and some look like those white woven bowls that I forgot the name of. There is some light storage staining along a few of the folds and along one edge. There is also one small fabric fault in the center field plus several small dye skips. Finally, one end seems to be hemmed unevenly though it is mostly noticeable when the cloth is folded. Delicate Leacock Floral MWT Vintage Tablecloth According to Colorful Tablecloths by Yvonne Barineau and Erin Henderson, Leacock/Leaspun brought out a line of tablecloths in 1946 to commemorate the 100th anniversary of the birth of Kate Greenaway. Kate Greenaway was an artist and illustrator whose designs were soft and beautiful. Leacock also used elements of the patterns on tablecloths without the Kate Greenaway name. The corresponding tablecloth to this one is also called Language of Flowers after a book Greenaway published in 1884. The Greenaway cloth is shown on page 38 of Colorful Tablecloths. This version has the same flowers but they're arranged in a circle and with a plain off-white background. It is a beauty! The delicate colors don't photograph well. It's prettier in person! Rare Leacock Whimsical NWT Vintage Tablecloth This is the only tablecloth I have ever seen in this pattern. The pattern name is Crinoline and it is similar to the Hearts and Flowers pattern with the boy and girl in love. Here there are people out for their daily consitutional. The most unusual thing about this pattern is that it is almost abstract. It almost looks like a color is missing from the design but I dont think there is. This tablecloth is printed on sheeting weight cotton. That may be why it is rare. The pattern is clustered in the center which is really unusual. The downside is that there is fairly extensive storage staining in one quarter of the tablecloth. One of the most important textile designers of the 20th century, Ms Dorn designed textiles in England and the US. Green Damaged Floral NWT Vintage Tablecloth OK, this annoys me. Once again I have a tablecloth described as mint in package. I open it up and it has hugely obvious fabric faults. I hate it when that happens! Anyway, this is an unusual color for a tablecloth and maybe you could ignore the faults or cut it up and use it in projects. ARGH! OK, there is one in the green just outside the white center. I put in two pictures of that one. Then there are three right by the selvedge. It does have wheat sheaves but is not obviously a fall tablecloth to me. There are a few small light spots on the exposed face. Cartoon Farmhouse MWT Vintage Tablecloth Yeah, I know I keep saying it but this really is one of my favorite tablecloths. I have it (damaged) in my own collection. This one is clean and pristine with fun cartoon graphics. I especially love the vegetable baskets in the corners. It is a Leacock tablecloth with its original paper label. Leacock Flower Cages on Green Vintage Tablecloth This is another offering from the Vintage Tablecloth Home for Wayward Tablecloths. This tablecloth had the original label but it was very sad. It was brown from end to end. The worst storage staining Ive ever seen. It was so beautiful though and I admit to a weakness for Leacock designs. The name of this pattern is Florette. The original label will come along with the tablecloth. Seven million soaks later it is much better. There is a darker area in the center field that will probably not improve. I cant see it unless the tablecloth is held to the light. There is also one part outside the green border where there is some minor age staining and a couple of lines of very light tan dye transfer. On the other hand it is a great design! I soaked it multiple times and it now looks great. There may be a small amount of residual discoloration but nothing that would be visible on the table.
