Lights and Lanterns MWT Vintage Tablecloth This tablecloth would be a perfect gift for a vintage lantern or lighting collector. It has lanterns from the civil war and from stagecoaches, skating lanterns too. It comes with the original paper label from Marlene Linens which has fallen off. Rare CAHP Golden West Vintage Tablecloth I believe this tablecloth is one of the more rare California Hand Prints patterns. Called Golden West, I had it once with the original label. I have only seen it once or twice more in ten years, including this one. It has stagecoaches, oxen and Western towns. The graphics are adorable! Has the original sewn in fabric tag. It has obviously been used so it does have some fading, not too bad though. There is one tiny light spot right by an edge. I found a tiny bobble at one point that I think was a weaving flaw but I cannot find it again. It was out in the border. There is one area by the edge of the center field where the colors are different. I dont know whether this is a printing error or bleach damage. There is no harm to the material in the area. This is one of my favorite novelty cloths because of the great colors. HTF Candelabra Napkins Vintage Tablecloth Another great tablecloth I am selling from my personal collection. This is a hard to find pattern with six matching napkins. The tablecloth is more faded than the napkins. There is a pinhole in the side border of the tablecloth. One napkin has a light stain I did not see until I was ironing it. One hem is slightly out of square but it will not be noticeable on the table. A special tablecloth. International House Louisiana Vintage Tablecloth The International House Hotel is a high end hotel in the French Quarter of New Orleans. I think this tablecloth comes from about the 1960s. It feels to me like it may be a Simtex. We do know that Simtex made some of the souvenir cloths around. It has a few light stains but they are now hard to see on the table after a soak. HTF Large Ham and Eggs Vintage Tablecloth Another out of my personal collection. I am trying to thin out duplicates. This tablecloth doesnt come along very often, especially in this nice larger size. It is not perfect though. There is some very very light yellow staining in the center area and a little outside the border. A couple of tiny dark pindot spots outside the border. Early Red Green Urns MWT Vintage Tablecloth Anyone who knows me knows I am expecially fond of these 1930s cloths back when things were handprinted. Colors and designs were much simpler. The original label just says Hand Decorated as many of these earlier tablecloth labels do. The printing is skipped in one area near the center, part and parcel of the early printing method. Red and green on an off white cotton background. The green points to a late 30s date since most green was not colorfast before 1935. A couple of light dirt smudges should wash out. HTF Picnic Food Vintage Tablecloth This tablecloth is one of those keep and pet cloths, not a using cloth. It is pure rayon, possibly English. It doesnt come along very often and is nearly always damaged because of the rayon. There are a couple of pinholes in the center plus wear to the selvedge. There is what feels like a half inch wide run in the fabric outside the border as pictured. It runs 6-8 inches. On the other hand, the colors are great. The color retention and excessive wear are consistent with a high rayon content. There are a couple of light stains outside the border that I did not try to remove. HTF Victorian Sports Vintage Tablecloth I have only run across this tablecloth twice. It is really interesting with men and ladies playing golf, riding in a carriage, riding a bike with a dog. It seems to be an earlier pattern because the printing is a little offset in places. There is one dye fault out in the border as pictured. It is right by the lady riding a bike. It is starched stiff so I didnt wash it. Good and clean. I think it is linen but it could be rustic cotton or a blend of both.
