Fantastic Food Vintage Tablecloths
Food Vintage Tablecloths are some of my favorites! I love the calorie cloths and funny chef cloths. I also collect war era vegetable vintage tablecloths that were printed to encourage people to grow their own Victory Gardens

Luther Travis Grapes Linen Vintage Tablecloth This is a nice linen tablecloth that would be great for fall! It is gently faded without much wear. I did find two light yellow stains barely visible to the outer edges of the center field. Size: 67 X 49 Fabric Content: Linen Dye Condition: Gently faded Holes/Tears: None Stains: Two quarter sized yellow stains in the center field. One at the end and one towards the side of the middle. They are not obvious on the table

Unwashed Red Coffeepots Vintage Tablecloth I believe this wonderful linen tablecloth has never been washed! It has red pictures and coffee pots and cups on the outside, little red dishes on the inside. I think this is a 1930s print and I only remember seeing it a couple of times. The background is an oatmeal color. There is a light but largish stain by a corner as pictured. Across on the other drop there are a couple of other areas of light staining that are not obvious. This is not your average common tablecloth so I decided not to wash it. Size: 64 X 52 Fabric Content: Midweight linen Dye Condition: Good Holes/Tears: None Stains: As described above

Damaged but HTF Picnic Vintage Tablecloth Another from my own collection. The colors are still bright but there are quite a few holes. It is a rayon tablecloth so I suspect an English source. I dont know whether it has been washed before, even with the holes, because it is stiff and very bright. It is also wrinkly. The tablecloths in my collection rarely get a wash just because I think washing does more damage than leaving dirty in most cases. Size: 50 X 50 Fabric Content: Rayon Dye Condition: Very bright Holes/Tears: Numerous holes, most are tiny Stains:

Pretty Fruit Basket Vintage Tablecloth Another from my own collection, I think it is a Broderie from the look of the fruit. It is truly a wonderful pattern and I have enjoyed it for a very long time. Pretty colors of pink, magenta and what I think is a jadite green on an off white cotton. There is one half inch hole in an outside fruit basket as shown. It would be worth mending the hole to use this beautiful tablecloth. Size: 51 X 48 Fabric Content: Midweight cotton Dye Condition: Good Holes/Tears: One hole in an outside fruit basket as shown Stains: One quarter inch gray stain outside the border as shown

Pastel Linen Kitchen MWT Vintage Tablecloth This seems like a 1960s pattern but it has these wonderful 1950s colors! Pink, blue and yellow with a little rust thrown in for interest. It is a great pattern in a nice size. The manufacturer is Modern Era and the pattern name is Spice. There is some slight storage staining along the central fold. There are also a few light storage stains along the edges. I have had good luck soaking these out in the past.

Simtex Plaid Kitchen NWT Vintage Tablecloth I have never had one of these before, let alone one with an attached paper label! This one has a great pattern with cups, coffee pots, knives and forks. It would be awesome in a red kitchen! The red is deeper and more blue than it looks in the pictures. There is yellowing on the exposed area of the tablecloth. There are a about five small deeper spots. One fabric fault as pictured.

Bright Yellow Spices Vintage Tablecloth The graphics on this tablecloth are wonderful! I dont think it had ever been washed when I got it. There were a few storage spots though so I soaked it. Mysteriously along the way I found a light red area that looks like a dye transfer. I dont know if I somehow caused that. It is out by the border though and light. There is also a cluster of dye drips out by one of the selvedges as pictured. The tablecloth needs a good ironing.

Vera Mod Brown Harvest NWT Vintage Tablecloth This wonderful Vera tablecloth has its original paper label. It has fall colors of dark brown, medium brown, tan and black. It is really unusual! It does have some small areas of age staining as I've tried to show in the pictures. In my experience, this is usually easier to remove than food stains. There is also one inch long light pencil mark. All of the staining is out towards the hems. There is a thread tied through part of the tablecloth but I think it can be removed without damaging the tablecloth.

CAHP Fall Pumpkins Cutter? Vintage Tablecloth Imperfect but beautiful is how I would describe this California Handprints fall tablecloth. Each corner has a combination of fall gourds, grapes, wheat and grapes. I would patch it and use it as is for daily use. The tablecloth shows fairly well with a few hard to see faults. There is a quarter inch worn spot on the outside of the inner field by one corner bunch. Kittycorner to that, there is a pinhole on the inside field plus about a two inch area of worn spots that are not worn through. Along one of the sides of the center field is an inch long stain that isn't very obvious. It also needs to be ironed :o(

The colors are blue, purple and pea green on a nice off white linen. The manufacturer is Flanders Spun and the pattern name is Fruit Spray. There is a slight mothball smell to the tablecloth.

60s Pink Green Stuff Vintage Tablecloth Another 60s tablecloth with a woodgrain center. They really seemed to have loved them! This one has pretty colors of pink, olive and tan on an off white linen background. There are roosters, oil lanterns and coffee grinders. No problems found other than a mild overall fade. This is from another lot of tablecloths that I am listing the way they are. I have had good results with Oxy products on these items.

Simtex Cute Fruit Vintage Tablecloth Love these bright Simtex fruit tablecloths! This one has gorgeous primary colors on a white textured cotton ground. There is some light yellow staining to the center field but it is only barely visible on the table if you look for it. The tag is partly falling off as shown in the picture. The yellow seems more faded than the other colors and smudgy. This must be an early cloth where some of the colors are less stable than others. I would avoid the use of Oxy products on this tablecloth.

60s Fruit Label Linen Vintage Tablecloth Pretty 60s colors and themes. I can find nothing wrong with this tablecloth other than a very mild fade. Another from the first lot from a new seller. These tablecloths have been cleaned but not stain treated. They have a smell of bleach. Large Red Yellow Fruit Vintage Tablecloth This tablecloth is large and bright. The fabric is a heavier weight cotton and a bright white. The blue printing appears to be very slightly faded. There are about 3 light yellow stains that are hard to see in the pattern. They did fade when I gave them a singly Oxy soak. One largish but light gray swipe that did fade when soaked. It is towards the side and not too obvious. Finally, a tiny deep yellow spot as shown.

Primary Block Printed Fruit Vintage Tablecloth Amazing fruit that looks hand or block printed. The colors are bold and I suspect it has been barely used! I am not sure what fabric it is. Maybe linen but it's still stiff, not floppy like linen. It might be a cotton/linen blend? I soaked out some minor staining. There are some tiny dye spatters here and there which are common on this type of tablecloth. There is also a fabric slub on one selvedge as pictured.

Victory Garden Vegetable Veggies Vintage Tablecloth Given the sheeting weight of the tablecloth and the handprinted colors, I would guess this tablecloth comes from WWII or slightly earlier. Still, it is a beauty and I've never had it before in blue, only in yellow on a heavier cotton. Because of the sheeting weight, this cloth has four hems. Given the weight of the fabric, I wouldnt use this tablecloth. It probably wont hold up to frequent washing, only petting. The colors are bright and I couldn't find any broken threads. There are a few small light yellow stains which faded when I soaked the cloth. One corner printing is not properly lined up as shown in a picture. Also, there are scattered small dye drips here and there, mostly in the same corner as the offset printing.

Burgundy Handprinted Fruit Vintage Tablecloth This tablecloth is unusual! It is hand printed with glorious colors. I have this pattern in red too. I soaked the cloth and got out some light staining. The burgundy is now slightly faded unevenly. There are dozens of tiny pindot paint spots that are really hard to see. There is a slight consistent pink tint to the fabric. Finally, the unusual thing is that the hems are sewn the wrong way. Folded towards the good side instead of the bad. It is not really noticeable.

Pure Rayon Fruit MWT Vintage Tablecloth I dont usually buy rayon cloths but this one was pretty. The good side of rayon is the way it takes and holds dye. Amazing Orange Fruit Vintage Tablecloth I need to say right out front that there are yellow stains in the white part of this tablecloth that did not come out when the tablecloth was soaked. Maybe theyll lighten with a sunbath, they might be dye and will never go. I cant tell. However, this tablecloth is so bright and unique that I would put up with them! The colors are gently faded but there are no holes. Oops, found one dark stain on the edge. These pictures are horrible! The background is white, the colors not quite as faded as they look. I couldn't really get the stains to show up either. Sorry about that!

Sorry the pictures look blue! There is some minor storage staining along a few of the folds. Not very dark. There is also a slight vinegar smell to the cloth from being stored in a plastic bag. That happens when the plastic starts to degrade. It doesn't seem to have caused any problems with the tablecloth though. Finally, there is a half inch blue surface mark (very light) outside the border. Even if it doesn't wash out, it is very faint.
