Peonies on Blue MWT Vintage Tablecloth Old tablecloth from Hollywood Hand Prints. The paper label lists the pattern name as Peony. Hollywood is the only manufacturer I know who puts the pattern name front and center instead of their name. It is printed on sheeting cotton and has pink and magenta flowers on a blue-gray border. It does have some light age staining. One small gray spot by the label. One small fabric flaw as shown. Pastel Tulip Pots MWT Vintage Tablecloth I have been buying a few of these Hope tablecloths lately. They are pretty and happy colors with a late 50s early 60s feel. The background color is bright white, not blue like the picture shows. The weight feels like a midweight Simtex, not the heavier weight but not the nasty thin kind either. Colors are bright and cute! Large Red Blue Floral MWT Vintage Tablecloth This early Marlene Linens tablecloth has overdying and nile green on a heavier sheeting weight cotton. The pattern is gorgeous! Still has the orignal label although half is cut off and travels with. The pattern name is Geranium although the flowers look like roses to me. Some light age staining throughout with deeper on a couple of folds. Slight storage smell will dissipate when washed. One small hole right by an edge as pictured. One dye swipe outside the border. Be cautious with Oxy products because the dyes appear smooshy to me, those dyes are not always stable in Oxy. This one has modern impressionist roses on a gray striped background. Very pretty and bold! The original paper label lists this pattern name as Only a Rose. Pink Poppies on Yellow MWT Vintage Tablecloth This pretty tablecloth has pink and lipstick red poppies on a gold back ground with taupe daisies and gray/green leaves. Has the original paper label from Coronet. I see Coronet labels fairly frequently but didnt see them in any of the books. This is a cotton and rayon blend and rayon helps hold color like crazy. It also drapes nicely. This blend is slightly thinner than the blends from Prints Charming. Be careful when it is wet and it should provide good service for a long time. Slight age staining and dirt on the fold by the label. Pink Magenta Hibiscus MWT Vintage Tablecloth This manufacturer is described in Colorful Tablecloths by Barineau and Henderson as Hollywood Hand Prints. With the tablecloths from this manufacturer, all the labels have a different name at the top that I believe is the pattern name. Some of them are flower names that match the flowers on the tablecloth. This label has the name Springtime. The logo has been in use since 1941 and I suspect this is an earlier pattern by the overprinting. Very slight age staining.
