Shabby Red Gray Floral Vintage Tablecloth Continuing to move through my stacks, I need to put some tablecloths up without soaking. This one is pretty clean with two light stains in the center area. They are visible on the table but not horrible. The pattern is gently faded, especially the gray which was probably lighter to begin with. There is one spot that may be a fabric flaw or the beggining of a wear as pictured. One tiny dye spot in the middle of the tablecloth. Shabby Floral on Blue Vintage Tablecloth Great pattern with pink, magenta and green on blue. Not the tablecloth for a perfectionist though. I soaked it twice and there is some light yellow staining still visible on the table. There are also a few smudgy black marks. No holes found and the colors are still bright. I would use this on my table and just appreciate the pretty colors. Magnolias on Salmon MWT Vintage Tablecloth Sweet magnolias on a salmon or chalky pink. Soft gentle colors. The original paper label from F&C lists the pattern name as Magnolia. F&C is Fallani and Cohn and looks to me like an earlier label than most tablecloths from this manufacturer. Colorful Tablecloths lists other cloths with this label as late 50s, early 60s. Fiatelle Ferns on Pink Vintage Tablecloth This tablecloth came unwashed. Like many tablecloths I have been buying lately, it also came with yellow staining. There was some along the inner edge of the border and some near the edge in one place. I soaked and the yellow around the center is no longer noticeable on the table. The yellow outside the border is still visible but fortunately is on the drop. I think that staining is dye transfer. Has a Fiatelle signature hidden in the pattern. An interesting pattern! The colors are deep pink and magenta in case they dont show well in the pictures. 30s Linen Floral Hearts MWT Vintage Tablecloth My favorite tablecloths are those from the 30s and early 40s. This one is from the late 30s by the look of the bold design, two colors and linen. It has flowers in each corner that make heart shapes. Has the original Cavalier Prints paper label. Cavalier Prints also made the Lido line that I often see in cotton/rayon. Some cloths in both the Cavalier and Lido lines have machine appliqued edging that looks sort of like crochet. One tiny spot in the center as shown. Pink Flowers Bows NWT Vintage Tablecloth I have had this pretty tablecloth for a while. I tend to hang onto my favorites but it is time to work towards the bottom of my tagged tablecloth pile. The tablecloth has the original paper label from Mastercraft Hand Prints with no pattern name. I believe Mastercraft was a Canadian company. There is extensive light storage staining that I really didnt notice until I unfolded the cloth and held it to the light. Hopefully this will soak out. Unusual Tillet Floral MWT Vintage Tablecloth This great floral has the original tag and shows it was designed by D.D. and Leslie Tillett. The Tilletts were world renouned artists and textile designers who created a line of tablecloths for Quality Linen (a Leacock Company) called Brush Prints. Part of their lives were spent in Mexico and perhaps this design is based on that experience. It is a wonderfully intricate pattern. The tablecloth has the original label from Quality Linen with the pattern name Montezuma. It has one light waterstain near the label as pictured. Daisies and stripes in green, brown and white surround a silvery gray background. There are four napkins along, that are white cotton with green stripes.
