Shabby Flower Basket Vintage Tablecloth An oldie but goodie! Gentle pastel colors on that wider weave homespun type cotton. This is not a later bleached cotton, it is slightly grayish. Colors are gently faded but were probably soft to begin with. Cornflower blue, jadite green, deep and light pink. What a beauty! Has a couple of faded yellow stains that are hard to see on the table. One quarter sized hole in the border with a pinhole closer in. Black marks near an edge as shown. Tom Lamb Coral Floral Vintage Tablecloth A great find for the Tom Lamb collector! I had this tablecloth in turquoise with the original label. The pattern name is Windsor. Tom Lamb is known to textile collectors as the designer of whimsical childrens' hankies and the great Pageant of the States design for the 1939 World's Fair. I have found tablecloths, scarves, hankies and a book with that design. Tom Lamb also designed a line of tablecloths for Garden State and this is the second pattern I've found. Fall Foliage Linen NWT Vintage Tablecloth This nice fall floral and foliage linen tablecloth does have some light age staining to it, but it looks to me like it will soak out. The staining is slightly deeper along the selvedges. It also has some variability to the linen, it's not pure combed linen like some cloths. It is sure pretty though! Has the original paper label from Sultan Creations. Colors are forest, lime, gold, gray and a light brown. There is some offset to the brown printing as sometimes happens on handprinted cloths. Very gently faded but not quite as dark as it looks in the pictures. I soaked it once. It has a largish area of very faded yellow staining after a single oxy soak. First, two yellow dimesized spots by the border that will not come out. Fortunately they are not too obvious. Second, a little smudge by another place in the border which is apparently chocolate. Yellow Rayon Floral Vintage Tablecloth Heavier weight rayon cloth. Slightly fuzzy, feels like wool challis. I dont like it but rayon holds color incredibly well. This cloth is very bright. Background is a butter yellow, although it doesnt show up well in the pictures. The tablecloth does have a faint ring in the center that looks like there may have been a plant pot at one time. I did not try to soak or wash the cloth. Rayon does not do well in Oxy and can be fragile when wet.
