Turquoise Textured Floral Vintage Tablecloth This tablecloth needs some TLC. It is a pretty pattern with bright colors on a textured white background. Feels like it might be a Simtex. The fabric is good and strong. However there are several pale yellow spots that faded in Oxy but are still visible. There are a few small spots that look permanent. It would be a good cloth to use outside or with the kids where you dont have to worry about perfection. Actually, it sounds a lot worse than it looks in person. Pink Roses Cutter? Vintage Tablecloth This was a holy grail tablecloth of mine. It took forever to find! The larger size is shown in Barineau and Henderson's Colorful Tablecloths on page 8. It is a Royal Art tablecloth and is a little damaged. Soak it, patch it and use it or cut it up for something pretty. There is still lots of pretty and strong fabric to use. It has one good sized hole as pictured. A couple of yellow stains still visible after a single soak. A few small gray spots that look permanent, all pictured. Still a beauty! Heavy Teal Flowers on Pink Vintage Tablecloth One of those big heavy cotton tablecloths. This one has teal and gray flowers on pink. It is really pretty! Unfortunately it has a few small spots in the center that are visible but not horrible. I might even break down and try a bleach pen on the gray spot that is noticeable. The hems are out to the first fold in places as happens with these heavier cottons. It is a gorgeous tablecloth that looks much better than the description shows. Yellow Roses on Gray Vintage Tablecloth Sometimes I get these tablecloths that are still nice but are faded and it is not worth my time to work on them when I have about 3000 tablecloths waiting care. Sometimes I just want tablecloths to go to a new home. The colors are yellow and burgundy with green and gray. The colors are somewhat faded and there are a few light yellow stains that are not obvious on the table. The tablecloth feels soft and thinner but this may be because someone used fabric softener. I did not soak this tablecloth. Early Flower Boxes Vintage Tablecloth The orange/brick red color and overdying point to a late 30s time to me. Great 3 color design. Colors are fairly bright and may have been slightly muted when printed. One couple of inch area by a hem where there is light dye transfer. I cannot see it on the table, only when the light is shining through the tablecloth. Pink on Gray Polkadots Vintage Tablecloth I love this tablecloth! It's gray and pink, more of my favorite colors. However, it came with a really, really nasty big yellow stain. I soaked it multiple times and the stain faded. It is now only slightly visible on the table. Unfortunately the colors faded too. However, it is still a pretty great tablecloth in heavier cotton. While ironing I realized that there may be a slight cleaning residue left in the tablecloth but quite frankly I am tired of looking at it, it needs to find a new home. Pink Poppies on Red Vintage Tablecloth A great pattern on heavier weight cotton. I have this in a larger size with a label and it was made by Aristex Artistic. Great colors and design! There is one fabric flaw that looks like a tiny pencil mark on the front. There is about a 3 inch area of very light pink dye staining. It is visible but not horrible on the table. Very slight variability to the red stripe in places. Only noticeable when the tablecloth is held to the light. Kate Greenaway Flowers NWT Napkins Vintage Tablecloth The whole picture cloth is the closest to the real color. Sorry about the blue tint! This large yellow floral tablecloth has the original paper label showing this to be a Kate Greenaway design called The Language of Flowers. Leacock Quality Prints brought out a line of her designs in 1946 to celebrate the 100th anniversary of her birth. This tablecloth label is marked irregular. The best I can see is a couple of lighter marks in the center of the tablecloth but they are not obvious. There is some light storage staining throughout most of the tablecloth. A few dirt swipes, especially along the edge. Shabby Red Gray Floral Vintage Tablecloth Continuing to move through my stacks, I need to put some tablecloths up without soaking. This one is pretty clean with two light stains in the center area. They are visible on the table but not horrible. The pattern is gently faded, especially the gray which was probably lighter to begin with. Springmaid Iris Bouquet MWT Vintage Tablecloth This pretty Mint With Tag tablecloth is often attributed to Wilendur. It is actually a Springmaid St. Regis and is printed on a chevron weave textured cotton which Wilendur never used as far as I know. Ive found these Springmaid tablecloths fade when soaked in Oxy. I would wash gently. There are a few very light surface spots and a very fine red line that is not obvious and it's close to the edge. A printing error, I think.
