Christmas vintage tablecloths were many of the first tablecloths I collected. I love the vintage Christmas icons, especially Santa and the reindeer. They remind me of the magic Christmas held for many of us when we were children. Like the Christmas in "A Christmas Story" but without the ugly leg lamp!

Unwashed Santas Workshop NY Vintage Tablecloth Another from my personal collection. This tablecloth came from Santas Workshop in Whiteface Mountain New York. Any of us who grew up in the Northeast likely remember the advertising for Santas Village. I remember it from my time in Montreal. It was founded in 1949 and is considered a forerunner of todays theme parks. This tablecloth has never been washed. It has residue from the paper label as well as age staining and a coffee ring. The staining is worse in person than it looks in the pictures, I cant get it to show up properly. It is a little attic smelling. However, it is a very hard to find tablecloth in any condition. Size: 36 X 35 Fabric Content: Cactus Cloth Dye Condition: Good Holes/Tears: None Stains: Light to medium age staining throughout. Label glue residue. At least one coffee cup ring

Christmas Poinsettia MWT Vintage Tablecloth This great Parisian Prints Christmas tablecloth came with the original paper label with the pattern name Golden Poinsettia. Unfortunately the glue has dried on the label and it was loose in the bag. I threw away the bag. The tablecloth has poinsettias, Christmas ornaments and those cute little clip on birds all on a nice red background. Good and clean. Don't use Oxy on this tablecloth because of the gold! Christmas Holly Wreath NWT Vintage Tablecloth This tablecloth arrived with the Bucilla paper label folded in. There is some light age staining to largish areas here and there on the tablecloth. It is yellower and more noticeable in person than it looks in the pictures. It hopefully will wash out although you should NOT use Oxy on this tablecloth with the gold dye. It is too light to show in pictures. Startex Christmas Trees Vintage Tablecloth Vintage tablecloths never cease to amaze me! I ran across this Startex Christmas tablecloth that I have never had before. Started digging and found another that I dont remember seeing and am keeping for myself. Hmm. This is a pretty pattern. Nice bright red with gold ornaments and green trees. Does not have metallic dyes so you can soak in Oxy if needed. I did and any yellow staining that was there is no longer visible. All that remains is a mild fade to the red. Sewn in tag attached. Printed on linen, it came in the original bag with the label loose. I threw away the bag and the label will travel with. Christmas Pine MWT Vintage Tablecloth Falspun Fallani and Cohn tablecloth named Christmas Pine. It has gold Shiny Brite ornaments and gold stars with green and red poinsettias and pine. Very pretty with a more modern look. It does have light age staining along some of the folds that will hopefully wash out. I have had good luck with this level of staining. You cant use Oxy products on this tablecloth though because of the gold. A matching linen Falflax teatowel will travel with. Christmas Poinsettia MWT Vintage Tablecloth I like this pattern. It would work really well with plain white china or something with a stark pattern. It has the original paper label from Designers Prints. The pattern name is Poinsettia although I have also had it with the pattern name Noel. It was in a plastic bag but I took it out. The pattern on this tablecloth goes end to end, there is no white border. There is no gold so if needed, a little Oxy can be used but beware that some of these 60s reds are unstable in Oxy and may bleed if left sitting. Shabby Large Christmas Vintage Tablecloth Cute tablecloth but it has been loved a lot. The gold is gone. Most of it is faded to a light golden yellow but there are some black parts that give it a weird look. The colors are somewhat faded. There are shadowy yellow stains that are not very visible on the table. I may not use this as my main holiday tablecloth but would use it on a side table or for a kids party. Shabby Christmas Poinsettia Vintage Tablecloth This adorable cotton cloth has poinsettias strewn across the cloth and a white border. It has a few light stains that I didnt try to remove because I didnt see them until I laid out the cloth. There is a light one hidden in the pattern and a larger light area on one border. Put it around the block or try a mild Oxy soak. Just be careful because these 60s reds are not always Oxy stable if you leave something soaking too long. The pattern is a little more faded than it looks in my pictures. Great Linen Christmas Poinsettias Vintage Tablecloth I have a weakness for linen but I adore this tablecloth! The colors are nice and strong, it looks like it has never been used! I did give it a quick wash to freshen it up. Love the brown and there is no gold so you can Oxy after the holidays if you absolutely have to. Has a nice creamy white background. One little light yellow spot out by the border and I cant tell whether it might be part of the weave. Wilendure Poinsettias MWT Vintage Tablecloth The name of this Wilendure (post 58) tablecloth is Merry Christmas. It has the original paper label. Light but solid age staining around the label and slightly darker age staining on some folds may come out with an Oxy soak. There is no gold but the red in these later Wilendure cloths can start to bleed if left wet for a long time. Keep an eye on it! Scarlett Christmas Bells MWT Vintage Tablecloth This label has its original Fallani and Cohn paper label. The name of the pattern is Christmas Bells. Unlike other red Christmas cloths I've had, this is more of a scarlett red than a blood red. The printing is mod and somewhat sketchy. It is really unusual! I like the fact that it's plain in the center so the pattern doesnt fight with the dishes. There is one quarter inch darker spot in the center area. Red Gold Floral NWT Vintage Tablecloth The name of this rose patterned tablecloth is Holiday. It is by P&S Creations. Unfortunately it has extensive light storage staining. The staining is also darker along one long fold. It is darker in person than it looks in the pictures. Because of the gold dye, Oxy should not be used. I would maybe try Biz or something gentle like a free and clear laundry detergent. Because so many collectors prefer tagged tablecloths, I will not remove the label to soak it myself.
